Talkin' Trash to Treasure

I got this coffee table from a thrift store! You will notice a wadded up piece of brown paper on the floor, that is the NEW TOP! The old top was in bad shape, so instead of just painting it, I went over it with wrinkled up builders paper, gluded it to the top, and stained it! It is hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like weathered leather now! I painted it robin's egg blue, distressed it, then went over it with dark walnut stain to age it! LOVE IT!
